“Shimoni” is a Beneteau 40 CC sailing yacht, built in France in 1996. |
CC stands for “Centre Cockpit”, which means that the cockpit is high, deep, and safe. |
She is 12.5 metres (41.5 feet) long overall and has a draught of 1.7 metres and is rigged as a Bermudan sloop. Both sails are self-furling and can be deployed from the safety of the cockpit. |
Sleeping accommodation is in two double cabins, the Skippers Cabin is forward and the Owners cabin is aft. The Owners Cabin can be divided into two singles. |
Each cabin has en-suite shower and heads (toilets) – one forward (at the front) and one aft (at the back). Further sleeping accommodation can be made available in the saloon. |
“Shimoni” is well-equipped with modern conveniences, including TV, radio, microwave and even central heating. |
